- Main article: The Most Holy Empire
The Most Holy Empire (Kneian: Anbýìyngal Män Amnésta, IPA: ['anbjɪəiŋal maːn 'amnɛjsta]) is Knei's only autonomous region. The Most Holy Empire is the seat of government for the monotheistic religion of Fādāiven. It is the only part of Knei that has a state religion. It is also an elective monarchy and is ruled by the Hára, the Fādāiven religious leader.
Politics[]
Government[]
Knei is Valeyne's oldest surviving federation. It is a constitutional republic and representative democracy, in which majority rule is tempered by minority rights protected by law. The government is regulated by a system of checks and balances defined by the Kneian Constitution, which serves as the country's supreme legal document.
In the Kneian federalist system, citizens are usually subject to three levels of government: federal, state, and local. The local government's duties are commonly split between county and municipal governments. In almost all cases, executive and legislative officials are elected by a plurality vote of citizens by district.
Military[]
The Kneian Armed Forces are the military forces of Knei, under the President as supreme commander. They consist of the Kneian Army (Knáa Þérémen), Kneian Navy (Knáa Kaémen), Kneian Air Force (Knáa Álémen), Kneian Special Forces (Knáa Pørémen), Kneian Space Navy (Knáa Hošþémen).
